Well folks, it's been a hell of a week. I'm sure you noticed from my last entry that I wasn't feeling so hot. Yeah, well...I've been in the hospital for a week and have been diagnosed with MS. There's a lot more to say on the subject and I have a lot to write down in my blog, for future reference and reflection. But now is not the time. I've only been home for a day and a half and am still pretty shaky. Things are looking up but right now I need to rest. I just wanted to let those of you who keep tabs on me what's up. Since I am improving at a pretty fast pace, hopefully I'll have the full story for you all soon. (If I can remember it all...lol). Seems like my cognitive functions have been weakened so we'll see how much I can remember in a day or two. Ha!

Yeah, the 'I'm still alive' posts are getting old...but, I'm still alive. It sucks that I've been MIA for so fucking long but my health has taken a header and so has my laptop. First it was pneumonia, then a series of colds (which turned out to be allergies) then my laptop took a crap...and now. Now my whole body is falling apart. I've been to the doctor about this and am seeing him again this Wednesday. He's testing me for autoimmune disorders. Fabulous. He ordered bloodwork last week to check for Hep B, Lupus and some other shit. If that comes back ok and I'm still having issues (which I am) then he'll send me to a neurologist. Probably to check for MS. I'm hoping it's nothing. I hope it's a virus, or a bad reaction to the allergy meds...or whatever. The symptoms point to bad shit, but I'll live in a comfortable state of denial until the doctor says otherwise.

Ok. That's it for now. I'm all shaky and my vision is weird...the computer screen looks funny. Hugs to everyone - I do still think about all of you, just kinda hard to 'chat' right now.

So I'm finally ready to hop back on to MSN and be a social creature again...but naturally something goes amiss. I enabled my auto updating for Windows yesterday and ran it, fearing the worm everyone has been talking about. No problem, right? Wrong! I dunno what the hell happened, but I can't access my MSN messenger. Not sure if it's because it's a third party version, or what - but I'm a little irritated.

*grumbles* I'm guessing I'll have to uninstall the whole thing and then reinstall it - hopefully it'll work then. If not, I'll have to sacrifice a goat to the computer gods. >_>

In other news, baby slugs aren't babies anymore! They've gotten big - especially Mirage. Looks like I'll need to upgrade to a small aquarium with a tight fitting lid soon...kinda crazy. Seems like they grew overnight. I has pics somewheres...I'll dig 'em up.

Lets see....what else. Oh! Did some gardening in the back yard today. Bought some rose bushes and planted them under the living room window and stuck some blackberry bushes by the fence. It was all kinds of 'fun' till I stepped on the rake and it thwacked me on the head. Srsly. Right on the temple...still smarts, too. *double head/desk*

So me and my son were driving home the other day and passed by the local Blockbuster. I said (kinda, sorta joking) that we should rent Twilight just to see how bad it is.

I want my five bucks and the two hours of my life back, plzkthx.

Worst movie I've seen in a very, very long time. The level of retarded teenage, emo bullshit angst was staggering - not to mention the horrible premise and acting. God. What a waste of celluloid. Everyone in my family groaned and face palmed throughout the entire movie...it was literally painful to watch. Jeeze-o. >.<

Why the hell is this movie so popular? I really don't get it...

Yeah, I still live. rl has sorta blown up in my face so my internet 'free' time has dropped considerably. Just found out my husband has diabetes, money has become non-existent and I'm working with my son to get him ready for the college placement exam that's coming up.

Yep, I'm still alive. ^^ Finally got over being uber sick and have kinda/sorta caught up on my month's worth of missed sleep.

Took my math final on Thursday and I bombed it. Hard. Well, I think I bombed it. I had a high 'B' going into it so hopefully I'll still do ok for the class overall. *headdesk*

Baby slugs are doing great. I discovered that in the wild, slugs will scavenge and eat pet food so I put a nugget of cat food in there and they went to town on it. ^^ So now I've got carrot, bok choy, celery and cat food in the mix...they seem to be pretty happy.

Well here they are in all their glory...Jazz and Mirage! Jazz is chillin on the bok choy leaf and Mirage is chowin on the carrot. Sorry 'bout the quality - my camera is a POS. >_>

Major hugs to playswithworms  and her inherent awesomeness.  She shipped two baby slugs to me (cuz I really wanted some and Nevada is too dry and crappy to support them) and I now have baby Jazz and baby Mirage in their new home.  Best Christmas present I've gotten in...well, forever!  I'll post some pics of the cute lil boogers later on - after I finish with the semester from HECK!  

*runs off to study for math final*

I dunno what's wrong with me lately. I've been exhausted and going to bed around 7pm and getting up crazy early. This morning I got up at 3:30 am! Yikes!!! Of course, now I'm wiped out and ready for a nap. >_> I think I'm gonna have to force myself to stay awake tonight so I can get back to a normal schedule. Yeesh!

So today is my anniversary and I just realized something. I've been married for half of my life. O_o Srsly - I'm 38 and this is our 19th anniversary. Daaaaaaaamn....

Our next project in ART100 is 3-D stuff. Teacher gave us each a big chunk o' sculpey and set us to work. I chose Yoshi, in keeping with my video game streak. >_>
